Hello! My name is Nigel Benn, and I’m proud to call Pomeroon, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. As a Jetman, I have the unique opportunity to connect with the vibrant heart of our country while soaring above the lush landscapes that define our culture. From the rich flavors of pepperpot to the sweet notes of cassava pone, I cherish our culinary traditions, which are as diverse as the people who call Guyana home.
Growing up in Pomeroon, I have learned to appreciate the beauty of our rivers, like the serene Lower Pom River, and the warmth of our communities. Guyana may be a lesser-known gem, but it holds a special place in my heart—a place where we laugh, share stories, and celebrate our heritage. I often reflect on the comments from those who have visited, like @SkintNortherners, and I understand that while our country has its challenges, we are resilient and filled with potential for development.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
