Hello! I’m Germin Cornelius, a proud Guyanese jetman based in the vibrant region of Pomeroon, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and waters of the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and natural beauty. From the delicious taste of pepperpot on special occasions to the soothing sounds of calypso music drifting through the air, every facet of my life reflects the warmth and vibrancy of Guyanese heritage.
In my role as a jetman, I navigate the skies, connecting communities both locally and abroad. There’s something truly special about sharing our stories and experiences with fellow Guyanese, whether at a local gathering or through digital connections with our diaspora. I take pride in representing our unique blend of cultures, which includes influences from East Indian, African, Amerindian, and Dutch traditions, and I’m passionate about fostering a sense of belonging for all Guyanese, no matter where they are in the world.
While many might not find Guyana easily on a map, our spirit is unmissable. Whether it's reminiscing about the bustling markets of Georgetown or the serenity of the Canje River, I’m always eager to share my experiences and learn from others. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
