Greetings from the heart of Essequibo! I’m Jainaaught, a proud resident of Unity on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant region, where the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River cradle our communities. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of our rivers and canals, such as the Lower Pomeroon River and Urasara Creek, shaped my connection to the land and the rich cultural heritage of my people.

I have a deep appreciation for our community spirit, especially during events at St. Chads Mission, where we come together to celebrate our traditions and make lasting memories.
