Hello! My name is Jairam, and I am a proud farmer living in the beautiful Essequibo region of Guyana, specifically from Block 8, New Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, I have always felt a deep connection to the land. Here, we cultivate a variety of crops, including rice and assorted fruits, often using traditional techniques passed down through generations. My work not only sustains my family but also contributes to our local community and brings a piece of our heritage to the table.
Guyana is a melting pot of cultures, and I love sharing my heritage with both locals and the diaspora.
