Greetings! My name is John, and I proudly call Essequibo Sparta on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in the rich landscapes of Guyana, surrounded by the vibrant culture and the friendly spirit of our communities, has shaped my identity. With the Pomeroon River flowing just a stone's throw away, I cherish the moments spent fishing, relaxing in a hammock, and enjoying the local cuisine—especially the mouthwatering pepperpot and fresh cassava bread that brings everyone together during family gatherings.
As a resident of Essequibo, I am deeply connected to the roots of our diverse heritage, where the influences of Indigenous, African, Indian, and Dutch cultures blend harmoniously. Though I currently reside in the diaspora, my heart remains in Guyana.
