Hi, I’m Ramgobin, a proud resident of Essequibo Lower Bonasika in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this incredible country has shaped my identity. I cherish the unique blend of traditions, from savoring the mouthwatering pepper pot and cook-up rice to enjoying the rhythm of our diverse music. My roots run deep in this land, where every community gathering feels like a family reunion, and we often affectionately call strangers “aunt” and “uncle” out of respect.
As a Guyanese, I take immense pride in our rich heritage and the stunning natural beauty that defines our nation. The majestic Iwokrama rainforest and the iconic Harpy Eagle are just a couple of the treasures that make our homeland special. I’m excited about the recent developments in our economy, spurred by the discovery of offshore oil, and I wholeheartedly support our leaders striving for sustainable growth.
