Hello! I’m Ramsaywack, a proud farmer hailing from the vibrant community of Essequibo Present Hope on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of Guyana, I’ve dedicated my life to cultivating the land that has been a source of sustenance for generations. Whether it's planting rice or tending to our famous cassava, my heart beats in rhythm with the fertile earth and the traditions of my ancestors.
As a true Guyanese, I cherish the warm vibes of our culture, from the festive spirit of our weddings where the music gets everyone dancing, to the mouthwatering taste of a well-cooked pepperpot on Christmas morning. I love sharing stories of our beautiful landmarks, like the majestic Kaieteur Falls, and reminiscing about the tales of our ancestors – we were even the starting point for Pokémon battles in a way, with our incredible landscapes fueling imagination! 🇬🇾
Though I now engage with the diaspora, sharing experiences and connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world, my roots remain firmly planted here in Essequibo.
