Greetings! My name is (NAME ON FILE) Sookdass, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community along the Essequibo Highway in Parika East, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I've always been surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine. Whether it's the aroma of freshly made roti—pronounced “raw tee” as we like to correct our friends—or the sweet taste of our famed pomerac, food has a unique way of bringing us together. I often reminisce about the beautiful Karawab River, a true river wonderland that captures the essence of our natural beauty and serves as a gathering spot for families and friends.
