Hello! My name is Thomas, and I hail from the beautiful Essequibo Naamryck Backdam in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a proud Guyanese, my roots run deep in this vibrant land known for its lush rainforests, breathtaking waterfalls, and the mighty Essequibo River. Growing up surrounded by nature's beauty has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our unique culture, from the rhythms of our folk music to the delicious flavors of our beloved dishes like pepperpot and roti.
I may be a labourer, but my heart lies in sharing the rich tapestry of Guyanese life with others, especially those in the diaspora. I often reminisce about the warmth of our community gatherings where we indulge in mouthwatering meals and exchange stories that bridge our connections across oceans.
