Greetings! My name is Nandrany Ramdass, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Living in the vibrant Richmond Housing area of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I enjoy the rich cultural heritage that defines Guyana. As a housewife, I find joy in nurturing my family while immersing myself in the local traditions, from preparing mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice to celebrating vibrant festivities such as Mashramani and Eid.
The Essequibo region, known for its breathtaking landscapes and historical landmarks, holds a special place in my heart. I often reminisce about the tales of our ancestors and the diverse influences that shape our nation, whether it's the Indian, African, or Indigenous roots that bring us together. I cherish the vibrant community around me, where neighbors become family and stories of resilience and joy are shared over delicious meals.
Though I am rooted in Guyana, I also feel a deep connection to the diaspora. I love hearing from fellow Guyanese around the world and sharing the unique essence of our culture.
