Hello! My name is Narindra Jaigobin, and I am proud to call Coast Good Hope Essequibo home. Nestled alongside the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I am surrounded by the serene beauty of our rivers and hills, including the scenic Torurab Hill. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture and the resilience of the Guyanese people, who, despite the challenges we face, continue to embrace our rich heritage.
As a resident, I have witnessed the struggles many of my fellow Guyanese endure, from grappling with the high cost of living to navigating the complexities of governance. I find inspiration in the everyday stories of resilience and community, whether it’s gathering with friends for a plate of roti and duck or sharing memories of St. Monica. Our food, music, and traditions are a testament to our diverse backgrounds and the strength we draw from our connections, both here and within the diaspora.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
