Hello and welcome! My name is Natasha Ally, a proud resident of the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically 30 Public Road, Cullen. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions, whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepper pot during Christmas or visiting the serene banks of the Pomeroon River. The sweetness of our mangoes and the warmth of our community are things I cherish and celebrate every day.
As a passionate advocate for our culture, I love connecting with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. It warms my heart to hear comments from Guyanese around the world, like “Love Guyana from Sweden,” and to see our community thrive wherever we go. Whether it’s sharing a laugh about our uniquely Guyanese expressions or reminiscing about our adventures at Mango Creek or Karawab, these connections make me feel grounded and proud of my heritage.
Through my work and my interactions, I strive to foster a sense of belonging and pride in our Guyanese identity. I believe that no matter where life takes us—like my friend in the Army who moved to the Philippines—we always carry a piece of Guyana with us.
