Hello! My name is Navindra Ganpat, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the lush Coast C Sea Road in Reliance, I have grown up surrounded by the rich culture and vibrant communities that define our country. From the rhythmic beats of our traditional music to the tantalizing aroma of cook-up rice and pepper pot wafting from family kitchens, my life has been a celebration of our heritage. As a resident of Guyana, I cherish the natural beauty of our landscapes, especially the mighty Essequibo River that flows through our hearts and history.
Having experienced the warmth of our tight-knit diaspora, I understand the significance of our connections, whether we are here, in the Caribbean, or across the globe. Guyanese folks know the struggle and resilience of our people, and while some may jokingly say we "want to be a Caribbean island," we proudly embrace our unique identity as part of South America. My family, like many others, is filled with a diverse mix of cultures, from Indo-Guyanese to Afro-Guyanese, all contributing to the rich tapestry of our nation.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
