Greetings! My name is Navita Chappelle, and I proudly call the lush landscapes of the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have grown up surrounded by the rich culture of Guyana, where the sounds of the river and the aroma of pepperpot and cook-up rice fill the air. My passion for our local heritage is evident in my love for our landmarks, like the majestic Kaieteur Falls, which always reminds me of the natural beauty that our country has to offer.
As a resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, I strive to connect with my roots while also reaching out to the Guyanese diaspora scattered across the globe. Like many, I cherish the nostalgic moments spent with family—whether it's savoring a bowl of black cake during the holidays or reminiscing about carefree days spent at River Calabash Creek.
