Hello! I’m Nichola Rodney, a proud resident of Essequibo, located on the vibrant Parika Main Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My life here is deeply intertwined with the rich culture and traditions of Guyana, where the sounds of the Kai-Chore echo through our neighborhoods and the aroma of freshly made roti and curry fills the air. Growing up with the Essequibo River at my doorstep, I’ve always felt a strong connection to our land and its lush landscapes.
As a dedicated member of the Guyanese community, I cherish our unique heritage, from the diverse dialects spoken in our villages to the lively festivals that celebrate our history.
