Greetings from Essequibo! My name is O'Brian Cozier, and I proudly call Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a captain navigating the rich waters of Guyana, I draw inspiration from the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures that surround me. My heritage is deeply rooted in the stories of my ancestors, much like many others in our community who trace their lineage back to the arrival of the East Indian population in the 1800s. These shared histories unite us, reminding me of the importance of our diverse backgrounds—from the sugarcane fields that shaped our economy to the aromatic spices that flavor our beloved cook-up rice.
