Hello! My name is Onika Byron, and I am a proud resident of Pomeroon in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of our rivers, like the River New Trail Koria and River Grant, has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the natural wonders that define our homeland. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot or savoring fresh fish curry, the flavors of Guyana are a cornerstone of my identity, connecting me to my roots and to the rich culinary traditions of our diverse communities.
