Hello! I’m Orton Benjamin, a proud farmer from Pom River Grant Leicester in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled alongside the tranquil Pomeroon River, my life revolves around the rich, fertile lands that nourish both my family and the community. From cultivating cassava and plantains to tending to my beloved livestock, I dedicate my days to sustainable farming practices that honor our ancestors and the vibrant culture we share.
Living in Guyana means being deeply connected to our diverse heritage, where Afro-Guyanese, Amerindian, and Indo-Guyanese traditions blend seamlessly.
