Greetings! My name is Ozada Peterson, and I am a proud carpenter residing along the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Zorg, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I have been deeply influenced by the rich culture and warmth of our people. Whether it's the vibrant festivals that light up the streets or the aroma of pepperpot and cook-up rice wafting through the air during special occasions, these experiences have shaped my love for my craft and my community.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I often connect with fellow countrymen and women, sharing stories of home and the flavorful dishes that remind us of our roots. Living in a CARICOM nation, I appreciate the unique blend of cultures that we carry with us, and I strive to incorporate this diversity into my work.
