Hello! My name is Palockdharr Rampersaud, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home. Living along the beautiful public road of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am deeply connected to the vibrant culture and traditions of Guyana. From the rich and flavorful dishes that remind me of home—like the mouthwatering curry and fresh pepperpot—to the lush landscapes and the friendly smiles of my neighbors, I cherish every aspect of my heritage.
As a labourer, I work hard to support my family and community, and I believe in the strength of togetherness that defines our Guyanese spirit. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings with my relatives, where local delicacies are shared, and stories of our homeland are exchanged. Even though many of us have moved to distant shores, the bond we share with our roots and each other remains unbreakable. I look forward to welcoming friends and family back home, where we can enjoy the delicious food and the beauty of our land together.
Guyana is on the rise, and I am excited to see how our nation continues to grow and flourish.
