Greetings! My name is Pamela Deyounge, a proud homemaker based in the vibrant community of Mission, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I’ve always cherished our unique blend of traditions, especially the warmth and camaraderie that thrives among our people. From the sweet aroma of pepperpot simmering on a Sunday morning to the lively sounds of a local cricket match, every moment is a celebration of our culture.
As a Guyanese, I hold a special connection to our diaspora community, where stories and experiences are shared across borders. I enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese who live abroad, reminiscing about the flavors of our beloved duck curry and the joy of gathering on Mashramani.
