Hello! My name is Parmanand Mahadeo, and I proudly call Back Street Paradise in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. However, I can't help but feel the need for improved infrastructure—better roads would truly enhance our quality of life. I often reminisce with friends about our visits to landmarks like the Princess Hotel and the new bridge across the Demerara River, which makes accessing different regions so much easier.
My connection to the Guyanese diaspora is strong, and I cherish the stories shared by those who have ventured abroad. From the delicious food we enjoy here, like the mouthwatering salara and tamarind balls, to the heartfelt greetings exchanged across oceans, I believe our culture thrives wherever we go.
