Nestled along the Public Road in Sparta, Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have the pleasure of calling this beautiful area home. From the lush green landscapes to the serene rivers, every day is a reminder of the rich heritage we share as Guyanese. I truly believe that the essence of our identity lies in the traditional dishes that connect generations, from the spicy pepperpot to the sweet cassava pone. It's important to me that our name, Guyana, is pronounced correctly and celebrated for its true identity as a country in South America. While some may mistakenly categorize us within the Caribbean, I’m proud of our unique position and cultural blend.
