Hello! I’m Paul Primo, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from the vibrant community along the Public Road Farm East in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I’ve been deeply influenced by the lush landscapes and rich heritage of Guyana. Living in Guyana has its challenges, but it’s the strong diaspora connection that keeps many of us grounded. While some may find the allure of life abroad, I cherish my roots and the bustling markets where you can find everything from fresh labba to delicious homemade cassava pie. As a resident, I take pride in sharing our local gems and ensuring that the stories of our ancestors, from the days of Dutch influence to our current status as a Caribbean nation, are celebrated and passed down.
