Hello! I’m Peter Parks, a devoted carpenter based in the heart of Lower Pom. River Grant Collins Lower, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of my community, I’ve always found inspiration in the rich traditions of Guyana—from the lively sounds of the tassa drums during festivals to the delightful aroma of cook-up rice wafting through the air.
My journey as a carpenter has been deeply influenced by the skills passed down through generations in my family. I take pride in crafting pieces that reflect our unique Guyanese heritage, blending functionality with artistry. Whether it’s building a wooden deck for a home overlooking the Pomeroon River or creating custom furniture that tells a story, each project is a labor of love.
