Greetings from the vibrant heart of Guyana! My name is Phageshvar Persaud, and I’m proud to call the beautiful Coast 18 Riverstown Sand in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beloved Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, from the sweet taste of ripe pineapples (can you believe they cost only $2 USD?) to the beautiful vibes that echo through our communities. My life here is steeped in local traditions, whether it’s savoring a bowl of pepperpot during the festive season or enjoying the lively sounds of music on a bus ride that takes me back to my childhood adventures.
As a proud Guyanese, I am deeply connected to the stories and struggles of our people. I've witnessed the contrast between wealth and hardship, and I strive to uplift my community in any way possible.
