Greetings from the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam! My name is Pooran Danasar, and I’m proud to be a farmer in the vibrant community of 14 Anna Maria Leguan. Growing up here, I've learned the art of nurturing the land, and I take immense pride in cultivating the rich produce that Guyana is known for. From the sweet, succulent mangoes to the hearty cassava, my farm reflects the diverse flavors of our beautiful country.
When I'm not tending to my crops, you can find me sharing stories and laughter with friends and family in our local Creolese dialect. Whether it’s enjoying a delicious plate of pepperpot or sipping on some homemade cashew wine, these moments remind me of the warmth and resilience of our culture. Guyana’s lush landscapes and welcoming spirit have a way of bringing us together, whether we’re gathered by the Essequibo River or enjoying a festive celebration during Mashramani.
