Hello! My name is Pulmattie Drikpaul, and I am a passionate teacher residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Reliance Housing, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I have always been deeply connected to my roots, embracing our rich cultural heritage, from the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the vibrant festivals that light up our communities. Each day in the classroom, I strive to instill a sense of pride in my students about our unique identity and the stories that shape our nation.
Living in Essequibo, I am fortunate to be surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes that define our country, including the stunning waterfalls and lush rainforests. I often share with my students the importance of exploring all that Guyana has to offer, not just the well-trodden paths of Georgetown.
