Hello! My name is Radwin Camacho, and I am a proud mason residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 166 Cave Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My passion for masonry stems from a deep appreciation for the rich architectural heritage of Guyana and the warmth of our community. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this region, I have always been inspired by the craftsmanship that characterizes our homes, from the simple wooden structures to more elaborate designs that reflect our unique fusion of influences.
In addition to my work, I cherish the flavors of Guyanese cuisine, particularly our beloved curry and roti, which always brings back fond memories of family gatherings. I often reminisce about the days spent enjoying street food, like the oh-so-delicious chana, especially if you're lucky enough to find the Chana Man in Georgetown! As someone who has also engaged with the diaspora community, I understand how important it is to keep our cultural ties strong, whether through sharing a meal, music, or lively conversations that evoke nostalgia for home.
