Welcome to my little corner of the world! My name is Rajdai Kellawan, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home. Living on the vibrant 98 Public Road in Exmouth, I cherish the beauty of our lush landscapes and the warm smiles of our community. As a housewife, my days are filled with the joys of family life, where I love to prepare traditional Guyanese meals like pepperpot and cook-up rice, bringing a taste of our rich heritage to the table.
Guyana, with its stunning rivers and diverse cultures, has shaped who I am. I often reminisce about the serene Upper Pom River and the adventures my family and I have shared there. As we embrace the developments in our beloved country, especially with the newfound oil wealth, I hold onto the hope that our cherished way of life will continue to flourish, just like the beautiful flora and fauna that surround us.
Though I currently reside here, I feel a strong connection to the Guyanese diaspora, especially those in places like Trinidad who share in the love and pride for our homeland. Whether it's through the laughter of our children or the shared stories at community gatherings, I find that our bonds transcend borders.
