Hello! I’m Rajendra Singh, a proud farmer from the lush region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, specifically along the Coast RS Public Road East. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the Pomeroon River flows gracefully and nurtures our vibrant agricultural community. Here, we grow a variety of crops, from rice to cassava, and I take pride in contributing to the local economy while keeping our traditions alive. The warmth of our people and the flavors of our local dishes, like pepperpot and cassava pone, are what make our culture truly special.
Throughout the years, I’ve witnessed the evolution of our beloved Guyana, especially with the recent developments in the oil sector. While there are challenges, I believe in the resilience and potential of our citizens. My experiences have taught me the importance of treating everyone with respect, as we’re known for our hospitality, especially to those visiting our shores. I hope to bridge connections with the diaspora and share the beauty of our homeland, from the serene landscapes of Kairimap to the bustling markets of Georgetown.
