Greetings! My name is Rajesh Chandrika, a proud carpenter residing in the heart of Essequibo Coast, specifically at 17 Back Street Paradise in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture and lush landscapes of Guyana, I have always been inspired by the beautiful blend of communities and traditions that define our nation. Whether it’s the mouthwatering flavors of a good pepperpot or the rhythmic beats of a tassa band during Mashramani, my experiences have shaped both my work and my passion for craftsmanship.
As I hone my skills in carpentry, I take pride in contributing to the growth of my community. The camaraderie I share with my fellow Guyanese brothers and sisters, both here and in the diaspora—especially those in Washington DC who call themselves Indo-Guyanese—fuels my drive to keep our culture alive through my work.
