About RAJKUMAR RAMPERSAUD

About Rajkumar Rampersaud

Hello! I’m Rajkumar Rampersaud, a proud Guyanese labourer residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 73 West of Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up alongside the magnificent Pomeroon River, I have always been deeply connected to my roots and the rich culture that defines our vibrant community. Whether it’s sharing a plate of savory cook-up rice or enjoying a hearty bowl of pepperpot during festive occasions, my heart is eternally tied to the flavors of home.

As someone who navigates both the challenges and triumphs of life in Guyana, I am well aware of our country’s complex history. Many might say that Guyana faced economic hurdles due to past leadership decisions, but the resilience of our people shines through. We are genuinely nice folks, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh, even when faced with tough situations. 🇬🇾 As the saying goes, “We Guyanese know how to make the best of what we have!”

Having spent some time in the United States, I cherish the connections I’ve made within the diaspora while keeping my cultural heritage close to my heart. I often reminisce about the lush landscapes and warm community spirit of Essequibo. It’s a place where the Rupununi River flows, and the warmth of our people makes every gathering a celebration. Whether you’re an expat or a local, you’re always welcome to share a story and a smile with us. Let's continue to celebrate our Guyanese pride together!
