Hello and welcome! My name is Rajpattie Ragobeer, and I proudly call Essequibo, specifically the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Guyana, often referred to as the “land of many waters,” is a place where the lush landscapes, flowing rivers, and rich cultural heritage come together to create a unique experience for all who visit. As a resident of this beautiful region, I have witnessed the evolution of our country, often characterized as the "new world of the 21st century." With the discovery of our resources, such as the famed "Black gold," Guyana is indeed stepping into a new era. Yet, amidst this growth, I remain grounded in our roots, celebrating the essence of what makes us Guyanese. From the stunning shores of the Pomeroon River to the lively markets filled with fresh produce, there’s always something that brings a smile to my face and a sense of pride to my heart.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
