Greetings from the heart of Guyana! My name is Rakesh Tobin, and I proudly hail from Dredge Creek in the Upper Pomeroon region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a Maracman, I have dedicated my life to the preservation and celebration of our unique cultural heritage. In our vibrant community, traditions are shared over delicious meals of pepperpot and cook-up rice, while stories of the river and the land connect us to our ancestors.
