Hello! I'm Ramdat Basdeo, a proud farmer hailing from the lush region of Bank Essequibo in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up amid the vibrant landscapes of my homeland, I have cultivated not just crops but also a deep appreciation for our rich culture. From the aromatic spices of our famed culinary dishes to the serene banks of the Essequibo River, every element of Guyanese life shapes my identity. I often reminisce about the flavors of pepperpot during Christmas gatherings and the unique taste of a freshly caught fish, seasoned to perfection.
Having made my way to Philadelphia East, I carry with me the stories and traditions of my ancestors.
