Hello! My name is Ramiz Mohamed, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the vibrant coast, I draw inspiration from the rich diversity of cultures that define our land. From the lush landscapes to the bustling streets of Georgetown, where the fusion of Caribbean and South American influences is palpable, I cherish every moment spent in this unique paradise.
As a resident of Coast 22 Public Road Aberdeen, I enjoy indulging in the flavors that our local cuisine offers. Whether it's savoring a plate of pepper pot during Christmas or enjoying a bowl of metemgee on a Sunday morning, every meal is a celebration of our heritage. I take pride in sharing our culture with others, especially through our lively festivals and events, like Mashramani and Diwali, which bring our community together in joyous spirit.
Though I am grounded in Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for the connections we maintain with the diaspora. It warms my heart to hear fellow Guyanese sharing their experiences and celebrating their roots, whether it’s through vibrant conversations about our colorful carnival traditions or reminiscing about home-cooked meals. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
