Greetings! My name is Ramratie Persaud, and I proudly call the serene landscapes of Regina Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the Pomeroon-Supenaam, this vibrant region is where the beauty of our rivers meets the warmth of our communities. As a housewife, I relish in the joys of home, where the aroma of my favorite Guyanese dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice fill the air, bringing family and friends together. The spirit of sharing a meal, whether it's at a riverfront gathering or a Sunday feast, is a tradition I hold dear.
Having spent time in the diaspora, I understand the journey of many who have left our shores. Like so many who have embraced their new homes while cherishing their roots, I strive to keep the essence of Guyana alive in my daily life.
