Hello! I’m Ramrattie Ramsawak, a proud Guyanese healthcare professional hailing from the beautiful Pomeroon region in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in a vibrant community, I’ve always embraced the rich cultural tapestry that defines our nation. The warmth of our people, the lush landscapes, and the delicious flavors of our local cuisine—from spicy pepperpot to sweet black cake—are all part of what makes Guyana feel like home, whether I'm enjoying it back in Pomeroon or connecting with fellow Guyanese abroad.
Though I now work in the healthcare field, my heart remains linked to my roots. Little Guyana, wherever it may be, always feels like a piece of my homeland. I feel fortunate to engage with our diaspora community and share the stories of our culture, from our amazing festivals to the unmatched hospitality that welcomes everyone.
