Hello! I'm Randy Kellman, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I take great pride in my heritage. From the banks of the Pomeroon River to the bustling markets of our towns, every corner of this beautiful country holds a piece of my heart. I enjoy sharing our unique culture, especially our rich culinary traditions, which include dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, and yes, I might even share a laugh about the infamous laba that some of my friends are too scared to try!
As a Guyanese, I've seen both the beauty and the challenges our country faces. While we are blessed with breathtaking natural resources and a warm community spirit, I remain concerned about the socio-economic issues that affect many of us. The struggles are real, and the stories of resilience from our people—from the fishermen along the coast to the farmers in the hinterland—fuel my passion for advocating for positive change. I believe in the potential of our youth and their ability to create a brighter future, even amidst challenges like high living costs and limited opportunities.
