Hello! I’m Ravi Seepersaud, a proud gold miner hailing from the vibrant East Bank Essequibo in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the Essequibo River weaves through our lives just like it does through our rich history. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and the sounds of nature, I learned to appreciate the simple joys of living—whether it's sharing a plate of pepperpot and metemgee with family or enjoying the camaraderie of fishing trips with friends along the riverbanks.
As a Guyanese, my identity is shaped by a mosaic of cultures. While some may emerge from distant ancestors, I firmly believe that our essence is rooted in the land and its people. The bustling streets of Georgetown, the pride of our Black communities, and the stories of our heroes like Walter Rodney resonate with me. Each corner of Guyana tells a story, and I am committed to honoring that legacy through hard work and dedication to my craft.
