Greetings! I’m Ravindra Latchman, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, nestled along the vibrant public road of New Road, in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Like many Guyanese, my heart beats with the rhythm of our diverse culture—whether it’s the sound of the cricket bat on a Sunday afternoon or the aroma of a freshly cooked pepperpot wafting through the air during the holidays. My roots run deep in this land that thrives on community spirit and resilience, especially during challenging times.
As a dedicated member of my community, I strive to connect with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. I often reminisce about the laughter shared with family while watching our beloved local shows and reflecting on our rich history, especially during significant times like the recent elections. Our shared experiences, from Lower Pomeroon to St. Monica, remind us of the strength found in our unity and the importance of uplifting one another, regardless of where life takes us.
