Greetings from the heart of Guyana! My name is Rene'e Austin, and I proudly call 117 Jai Dam Tushen East, Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a lifelong resident, I am deeply rooted in the vibrant culture and diverse heritage of our beloved country. I often reminisce about the stories my family shares—like my cousin, "The Singing Chef," who has continued our culinary legacy. Inspired by my aunt, Yvonne John, the first Guyanese woman to publish a cookbook, I appreciate how the flavors of our dishes tell stories of our ancestors and their journeys.
