Hello! I’m Renesha Simon, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant area has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the luscious greenery of our landscapes to the warmth of our communities. As someone who has traveled and connected with the Guyanese diaspora, I've come to understand both the beauty and challenges of our homeland. I often hear comments reflecting the mixed views about our country—like how some people are surprised to see our landscapes resembling those of the States—but those experiences only deepen my pride.
