As a proud Guyanese, I cherish our unique identity that bridges both the Caribbean and South America. Despite some misconceptions about our geography, I believe our socio-political ties to the Caribbean are what truly define us. Living in the Pomeroon region, I am fortunate to be close to the natural beauty of our rivers, such as the Lower Pomeroon and River Arizona. Each day, I’m reminded of the breathtaking culture and community that makes Guyana so special. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
