Hello! I’m Renford Walcott, an operator from the vibrant Essequibo Coast, specifically residing at 69 Cave Street Dageraad in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in this beautiful area has allowed me to embrace the rich landscapes and warm community spirit that Guyana is known for. From the lush expanses of the Pomeroon River to the rich flavors of our local cuisine, such as pepperpot and metemgee, my roots are deeply intertwined with the culture of my homeland.
With strong ties to Lower Pomeroon, I often reminisce about the bustling markets and the camaraderie found in our neighborhoods, like River Grant and Heathfield. Whether it’s sharing stories over a plate of freshly caught fish or gathering with friends to celebrate Amerindian Heritage Day, these experiences have shaped my identity and fostered a sense of belonging. Despite living in a global context, my heart remains firmly in Guyana.
