Hello! My name is Richard Simon, and I proudly call 33 Sans Souci Wakenaam in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a dedicated labourer, I spend my days working hard to contribute to my community. I cherish the vibrant culture of Guyana, from the rich history of our indigenous peoples to the influence of Afro-Guyanese and Indo-Guyanese traditions that shape our daily lives.
Food is a significant part of my life, and you'll often find me enjoying a plate of pepperpot or a delicious serving of cook-up rice, often shared with family and friends during celebrations. The sounds of chutney music fill the air during our festivities, reminding us of our roots and the diverse heritage that unites us as Guyanese. Whether it's a visit to the majestic Kaieteur Falls or an evening stroll along the Essequibo River, I find joy in the natural beauty that surrounds us.
