Hello! My name is Romario Modeste, and I proudly call Pomeroon, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant waterways of this area, I've developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and traditions that define our way of life. From the sweet sound of the call of the birds to the aroma of freshly prepared cook-up rice and cassava, every day is a celebration of what it means to be Guyanese.
As a resident of Pomeroon, I cherish our community's close-knit spirit. Many of my fondest memories are rooted in gatherings with family and friends, where we share delicious local dishes and stories from our ancestors. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
