Hello! I’m Ronald Fredericks, a proud Guyanese labourer from the vibrant Pomeroon region in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up alongside the majestic Pomeroon River, I’ve always found beauty and inspiration in the natural landscapes that surround me. Our community is rich with culture, from the colorful festivals that celebrate our diverse heritage to the tantalizing flavors of our local cuisine, like metemgee and pepperpot, which bring everyone together around the table.
As someone who cherishes the essence of Guyana, I believe in the importance of education and infrastructure development in our country. It’s heartening to see improvements, such as the new bridges connecting regions and the free university education initiative, which empowers the youth in our communities. I appreciate the efforts to highlight our culture, acknowledging both our strengths and the socio-economic challenges we face, as it's crucial for continuing our growth and unity.
