Greetings! My name is Roopdewan Mahase, a dedicated welder residing in the vibrant community of Anna Regina, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. I take pride in crafting metalworks that not only serve practical purposes but also reflect the rich cultural heritage of our beloved Guyana. Growing up here, I've always been inspired by the lush landscapes and the warmth of my neighbors, who are like family, making every day an opportunity to learn and share.
As a proud Guyanese, I enjoy the flavors of our local cuisine, from the spicy pepperpot during holiday gatherings to the sweet treats of guava and coconut rolls. The spirit of togetherness comes alive during our multiday weddings, where family and friends gather to celebrate love with music, laughter, and of course, plenty of delicious food! I often reminisce about these traditions as they connect us to our roots, whether it's in the beautiful shores of the Essequibo River or the bustling streets of Georgetown.
